Very nice of you to repost my mad blog! I am so happy to give anyone pointers in the right direction for writing/agents/self-publishing...please feel free to email me - all contacts on my blog - http://kerryfisherauthor.blogspot.co.uk - I would love to share some of the short (-ish) cuts I have discovered over the long slog to getting an agent! What are you writing, Lesa?
Oooh...I've just seen how your posts work...I'm going to read your NBT post now (between helping with maths homework and helping the son learn drama lines...)
Thank Kerry. I appreciate that. The whole road to publication is quite daunting.
I love women's fiction so that's what I write. It can encompass so many types of people and scenarios. I try to keep the short stories in the same vein and they deal with everything from light fun to death and domestic abuse. The MS I'm editing and polishing now is women's fiction with a crime/thriller twist - working title is The Glass House. The first chapter of it is driving me mad at the moment and I'm about to blog the latest version of it.
If you want to join in that Next Big Thing blog hop I can add your blog to the list at the bottom. I really enjoyed doing that one and made me think about certain aspects of the MS.
PS - cooking dinner, feeding the animals and getting the kids ready for their Monday night club, so know that juggling feeling!
